Back in 2008 our board was started by a number of us who have all been in root Admin group ever since. I am member #1. Of late, some frictions have cropped up, some have dropped out completely. I realise I am root admin by default, but would like to place the others in an 'ordinary' Admin group and co-opt replacements for those no longer interested. How do I do this? |

Hey There, Log in to your ACP. Scroll down to Users and Groups. ![]() Then, select Manage New Usergroups. ![]() Select the root admin group in the base new group on, then hit submit. Change all the settings that you desire. ![]() Then for Can access the Admin CP?, check the yes circle. If you would like for the group to also moderate anywhere, and be able to post in closed topics, then select yes for those as well. Once you are all done, hit submit. Your're done, Good Luck!
