What's your favorite part of a theme to code and or design?

I can't say I have a favorite. But, blogs are refreshing to do because by the time you get to them it's nice to switch it up and play with a slightly different color scheme.

I rarely design a whole theme but when I do it's generally the buttons, honestly. :#

M is for Mod

I tend to have different favorite thing on each design. But one of the things I always enjoy is finding a unique element or treatment and applying it in different ways throughout the theme.

If found, please report missing.

I fell out of love with creating themes after the first of two hard drive crashes caused me to lose everything about five years ago. I haven't made a theme since that time, though I did look in to playing with Zetaboards themes late last year, but I haven't found any spare time lately to actually focus on creating one. Though I do spend the majority of my free computer time editing my website files. I think it is also partly due to having poor design skills.

I can't grasp the idea of making images, and what's in my head does not want to go on paper (a side effect to being ill, and I'm also more logically minded, over being creative). I'm more likely to dig up bugs than I am to paint pretty pictures.

To answer your question then, I love the raw code. A basic text editor and a keyboard is all you need to keep me quiet. I much prefer creating the templates than choosing colours.

I’d say selecting the theme template, it’s also sometime the worst.
