How do you make buttons that allow the user to browse their files? In other words, a browse button. They're everywhere, like http://www.imageshack.us Please Help Thanks -Run3_kn1ght |

If your upload script was located at http://www.domain.com/fileuploadscript.php, the above HTML would place a form with a "Browse..." button for the user to select his/her file and upload it. The text field to the left of the "Browse..." button shows what file has been selected and where it is located on your computer. That text field is read only (cannot be modified manually). In the <form> tag, we have provided the action attribute. It is where you place the URL that defines where to send the data when the submit button is pushed. This can differ depending on where the script is located that processes the form (uploaded file). To read more about the <form>, <input>, or any other HTML/XHTML tag, go to W3Schools.com. |
