Is it possible to have a clear skin so taht everything is clear so taht you can see through it to the background? because i want to request a clear skin, but the requesting skin forum is down. i want to have borders that are visable but the space inside of the borders are clear, and the font would stick out from the background... |

Well, if you want a moving position background, it's possible, but it would require a lot fo measurement and therefore would be quite difficult. For a fixed-position background, which I assume you would want, no it is not possible. It would have to be done via gradients, and there is no CSS function to my knoweledge that makes the rows and tablepad areas completely clear... |

Yes this is possible. If you remove all "color: ...." elements from all areas of the CSS everything will retain invisibility as a default. Then, simply place a background image and set the CSS property to "fixed" for it's position. A lot of skins have already done the background thing, but there's not many using transparency. There is a guy named Cryrid out there somewhere who creates Doppleganger skins that have very interesting concepts. And if this continues to be a request thread it'll get closed. Please wait until Sunday and do not turn the chat area into a request forum. |

I think it would look quite odd, but like Sprjrx said, it is possible. |

ah, I get it now, a webpage with no background colour or image in tables but the background is fixed. I dont think thats invisibliblity, i think its css which is use to prevent the background from scrolling, and I also think its IE only if it isn't Css. It could be html instead of Css? |
