Board Address: http://w11.zetaboards.com/RS_Corp/index/ Board Software: ZetaBoards Description: Automatically hide posts. Is there anyway to automatically hide posts with the Autotools or anything on the Admin CP as I cannot find it. So, what I want is a code that automatically hides any other post than the first post in a topic. |

It's an inline post moderation option: http://docs.zetaboards.com/moderation/inline#moderating_posts_post_view You can use the 'Moderate forum' option as well: http://docs.zetaboards.com/acp/forums/create#forum_setup |

I've looked at both several times and have tried them out but it doesn't autohide any posts. I have to manually select the post and then use the hide option. |

When a post is hidden, it will only be visible to a staff member. |

Yes that is true. But I want a code that will automatically hide non-staff member posts that can be used in any forum without clicking on the post then using the moderation post to hide. Something like this. |

Anyone could simply turn of JavaScript and see the content. |

So it's not possible? But is it possible, regardless if the JavaScript is off or on which I think the users on my forum will have it on? I also just created a new account on my forums and went to the topic that had a hidden post. Javascript was also disabled and the hidden post was still hidden, as in on the new account, I couldn't see what was written. So I don't think that JavaScript does disable the hidden content. If you want all posts by members to be only visible by staff, you can select the Moderate Forum option for the section. Then you can approve whichever posts you want. If you want you can Enable 'Avoid Moderator Approval' for whichever groups you want as well. |

Thanks, got it working now. Maybe you explained it clearer to me. Sorry if this is what you meant Cory or Quozzo. |
