I was looking for a sort of point ranking system to use on my forums. Currently I'm using a money script in its place, but it isn't quite what I was looking for. I was looking for something that rewarded you points depending on your actions around the forum. For example, if you make a new topic you can earn 5 points, but replying to a post will net you 3. It'd also be nice if staff could give out points as well.

Quite awhile ago I had a system a lot like this back on my old Invisionfree forum, but this is Zetaboards so it isn't quite the same. Could someone help me out?

Storing points for every user of the forum would require PHP/SQL, so it's best to use the systems already available to you, a few of which may use PHP/SQL. Keep a close eye on Viral's ZetaBoards Dynamo code.

Well the code I used for invisionfree actually stored the data in the user's signature, but the actual point count showed up below their avatar. I'm guessing there is no way to use this sort of system for Zetaboards?

It's possible , but will containt the same vulnerabilities as the other. That is anyone can edit their own sig, and any content contained within.

This request has gone a lengthy period of time without any new activity, therefore it is being marked as expired. This means that the request was typically too time-consuming or irritating for coders (who provide this service voluntarily in their free time) to complete.

Thank you.
