Hello all,

My board like many other zetaboards has been getting an increased amount of spam, mainly from kitchen spammers at the moment. I would like to request a code that stops people posting topics with "kitchen" in the title. One of my chaps tried to make one already but was unsuccessful. Is it possible? Can anyone here make one for me please?

Any help is appreciated as its driving everyone on my board mad, thanks, Jungle

It would be awesome if that would work. We've gotten several "kitchen" spammers lately too. So annoying!

I actually just edited our Newbie group and set it so they can't edit their signature. I've noticed they seem to post the direct links in their signatures instead of the posts.

It's doubtful this would be of any use as simply turning off JavaScript would bypass the "spam filter".

I had this exact thing a few months back. I no longer have any spam by doing something very simple. By turning the security on registration up a bit. 1 very simple thing to do (doesn't stop all spam but helps) is forcing members to check there email to confirm they are human.
and the best way. "Enable additional protection against spambots?" set that to "Yes"

Ever since I have done both of them I have no spam on my forum.

You could hide topics that contain certain terms from your members that do have JavaScript enabled:
Code:
