So, having just converted to invisionfree from Proboards, I find myself wondering how to change the colors on my forum without using a lot of complicated coding. On proboards, I was able to change skins and colors without having to code anything. I can't use anything more advanced than basic BBC codes, so fighting with CSS is as much of a pain as you can imagine. Is it possible to change the colors and pictures and layout of the forum without having to fight with complicated codes? |

You can always apply a pre-made skin by simply copying and pasting the CSS codes onto your board over the top of the existing codes. You can find such skins here: http://if.invisionfree.com/forum/1000731/ All you have to do is replace the coding on your board with the appropriate codes supplied in each skin topic into the specified places. |

replace which codes where? I don't understand CSS, so i'm afraid I might delete a necessary code and destroy my site. |

See if this guide helps you: http://if.invisionfree.com/topic/502558/ If you mess up, you can always revert to the default skin and start over: http://docs.zetaboards.com/invisionfree/skinning/default_skin |

Correct. If you want to change your skin, you have to paste new skin codes over the existing ones. If you still find it all too scary and confusing, you can open a support ticket and we can install a skin for you. But really, don't be afraid to try. Even if you mess it up, it can be easily reverted back to the default. |
