I get my jeans for $5, and my shirts for $5-10, so that's overpriced for me. I'm fine with my clothing. :|

For me, fashion is wearing jeans and whatever band t shirts I can find under $20.

I walked into Abercrombie once, and everyone stared at me, so I left.
I could never be a prep, or spend 70 bucks on a shirt.

i think jeans and 2 shirts for $100 is a pretty good deal

I guess that's where we disagree.

I'm a Target/Walmart man. Kohls for the classy stuff. B)

The clothes they sell at Abercrombie And Fitch that cost 100$ can likely be found at Wal-Mart in packs of 50 for 5$.

I went shopping with some friends of mine today and 2 of my friends bought clothes at American Eagle and spent an insane amount of money. One bought 1 pair of jeans and 2 shirts for $107 and another bought sweatpants, a sweatshirt and 2 other shirts for $100+ (he didn't say) and then they went into Abercrombie & Fitch and there were plain shirts for $30 and polo shirts for $60!

My question is who in their right mind would spend money on this crap when they can get perfectly good shirts and pants elsewear for fractions of the price? I know it's just the fact of the brand name but it's dumb.

There's your problem right there. All of those stores (AE, Hollister, A&F) have the same merchandice with a different tag and name on the front. Why buy all that **** for so expensive? After all, it is just a label.

I bought some size 8 shoes, Dr. Sholls (Are you gellin?) for
$30! That to me was a rip off, cause they're no better on the feet than my other out-rageously priced shoes. I dont even think I'm a size 8... I think Im probably more than that, but 8's still fit so oh well.

I don't really like any mainstream stores because I don't like the style of the clothes. Also, most clothing stores (American Eagle, Gap, etc.) are overpriced. You can get the same stuff on the internet for a much better deal, and it doesn't matter if it doesn't fit perfectly because you haven't wasted $50 on it. :P
