I loved watching famous black rappers "plugging" Tommy Hil-- whatever. Yeah, wearing a white man's name and logo on your shirt is VERY gangsta. |

When I go shopping for clothes and shoes, by the time I'm done, I'm pretty much poor. |

I shop at American Eagle. If you go when they have Sales or look at their clearance rack, it's not bad at all. Just got two sweaters their for $20 each. I love American Eagle. I think Hollister is the worst of all the overpriced stores. I don't own any of their stuff. Edit: Oh, I love Polo too, but that's really expensive. I don't own anything clothing from their, but I do have a bottle of $50 cologne from them. Still have had the same bottle for over a year and a half, so it wasn't a terrible spend. |

LOL That reminds me of this girl at my school. She had on $300 fur boots today. LMAO, they were the biggest ugliest things ever. She said her mom's boyfriend bought them for her. (Her parents are divorced and they're both lawyers.) She has some ridiculous stuff. Like a $600 purse I think? I mean, wtf? |

I <3 AE, I love their clothes and the fit. I just really like them for some reason. I don't think their prices at all. If you want a full outfit, sure, but just a few pairs of jeans and a shirt shouldn't be that much. |

I don't shop at A&F because as soon as I walk into the store my ear drums explode. They blast the music so loud, the decibal levels can't be healthy. Even walking past the store is outrageous. So I stay away. I love AE's clothing style, but not the prices, so I just wait for TJ Max to get the leftovers and I pay half the price. It is pretty slick  Otherwise I just wear sweatshirts/hoodies my little sister doesn't want anymore, but it isn't that cold in SoCal, so I cannot wear them all year round. I've been wearing the same basic clothes since my freshman year of highschool; some form of an orange t-shirt and jeans

Perhaps you just can't keep up with today's fashion. |

The thing I hate about todays fashion is the faded/torn jeans. I mean seriously, who in their right mind is going to buy jeans that are already damaged? |

Exactly. I can attempt to skateboard, and technically I could be making money. I get most of my jeans and pants and stuff at Ross or TJ Max, decent deals. My shirts I'll get anywhere from Foleys to Suncoast, I usually only wear band T shirts. And I buy stuff from the internet sometimes. |

There's also a secondhand store I used to go to, I go there less now, but a lot of their stuff isn't that bad, and some of it is just new overstock. |

Me, I am a total cheepo. I hate AE and AF because they are so expensive. I usually go to Kohls, Pennys, the sale rack at nordies, or something like that. I don't go clothes shopping much, but when I do, I usually come away with a $25 or $30 pair of jeans, and nice ones too, with T-shirts usually 2 for $10 or something inexpensive like that. I went into AE, saw the prices, and immidiatly went out. I mean, their styles are cool and all, but im not rich, and I am not about to buy something that is a total rip-off. ((No offense to you who buy from the store.)) Another thing I hate about the current style is the holes in the jeans. I mean, I hear people saying how they bought $40 and $50 pairs of jeans, and I look at them like they are insane. I mean, their jeans CAME ripped up and torn, looking like some younger sibling took scissors to them! And I can by unholed, plain nice jeans for 20 or 30! So why not just make your own holes if you want them at all?!? I don't really like the current trends, especially the weird layered, frilly skirts with the lace tops. I usually wear to school just jeans and a sorta nicer t-shirt, sometimes with a white longsleeved shirt under it, and at home or on the weekends, soccer shorts and a T. Whats comfy works! |
