We have started work on a couple of themes with basic coding and they display the signature in the wrong spot overlapping into next post of thread. I am using google chrome and IE and does it on both. The Zeta original is fine however leading me to believe there is something missing in our code. Thank You.

This sounds like a problem caused by a recent chrome browser update. This should fix the issue for all themes:

Place this in your Board Template > Javascripts:
Code:

<style type="text/CSS">
td.c_sig, td.c_nosig {
height: .5%;
}
</style>

AdminCP > Menu > Themes > Board Template

Its where the overall coding for your board can be configured.

This just seems to create a lot of empty space between the signature and the text within a reply. Is there any other way to fix this?

I don't see an issue in your topic view.

Can you post a screenshot and and link to the topic where it is happening?

Change the .5% percentage to 0. That's worked wonders for me over at my board just now.

Seems like it just adds a lot of blank space, any idea how to fix that?

Which percentage value did you use?
