Board Address: www.forums.mmasportscards.com Board Software: ZetaBoards Description: I am currently using Cory's awesome feedback system, and was wondering how easily it could be achieved to add to that or create something separate where one user can set up a trade with another user(Something simple as I am sending blank, and this user will send blank) then the other user would receive it in their inbox, and could either accept or decline it. Then maybe two fields for confirmation numbers, and a trade completed options for both members, along with the feedback system would go really well. This is my second request, I tried to do better research this time. Thank you for your help!!!! [EDIT] Also is there a way to make the feedback scores display in posts? That would require too much AJAX. |

So, basically this is all controlled via the PM system? It sounds quite simple to create, really. If you can give me a template of the form you want to setup, that would be a great start. |

I guess it would just be a simple form on a webpage with the fields: (I think it would be very helpful if this could be public and made editable by the other member involved in the trade) -Enter Member's ID You would like to request a trade with: (It would pm this person) -I am sending the following: -Member ID from first line is sending the following: (The person filling out the form would fill this line out) -Tracking from ME: -Tracking from MEMBER ID: (The other member would somehow have to be able to add this in the public version) Link To Leave feedback once trade is completed(Tracking is entered). I just realized I can probably use almost the exact same script you made for me for the pick em fantasy form a little bit ago. I just dont know how to make certain features work through it(Such as having the other member be able to edit that specific topic that the trade posts in(Assuming the only way to make others be able to see it is if it posts to a topic)). Let me know what you think and if it is possible through the other script I will give it a go. If you think using the other script is more work, then I will make the basic html form and send it to you

So, let me get this straight: You want the HTML form to post a topic in a forum and both users involved in the trade should be able to edit the first post? |

Well it doesn't sound very possible. But I was HOPING there might be a way to make the trade public and have both users edit the tracking number only(Regardless if it is posted in topic, or webpage, etc) If it is not possible in any way, I guess can leave the tracking one out but it would be really nice if it could work out somehow. Thanks again for looking into this! |

To have a post editable by both users, the user(s) or group(s) would have to be made moderators of the forum, is that fine? |

Ok so then I can make it so they are ONLY moderators of that particular forum, and they won't know so? Is there a best way or scenario to make it so they can't edit trades they are not a part of? Or would that require a separate forum per trade O.o |

I don't believe there is a feasible way to make it where two separate users can edit the same post without allowing all (forum) moderators to do so. |
