Ok...this is a basic tutorial on how to make and use your own patterns

1. Ok first

Posted Image

Make a new project with these setting 3x3 Transparent

2. It will start of looking like a little dot but if you zoom in the most you can it should look like this

Posted Image

3. Alright, on this part you can choose to change the color to the one I’m about to show you...or you can keep it black either way works

If you do choose the color ill show you...click the color palette and make it look like this

Posted Image

4. Now...take out your pencil tool

Posted Image

5. In this part you can have fun...try making up different designs…here some basic one

Posted Image

I made a box in the up, left, right, down, and middle

Here’s another easy one:

Posted Image

It’s diagonal, from bottom left, middle, and top right

6. Now it is time to save our work Go to Edit > Define Pattern

Posted Image

7. YAY!! Now it’s time to use the patterns we made. Please open the Graphic you want to use…I’ll be using this sig

Posted Image

Pretty isn’t it?..*note, i made the above sig myself..it just isn't complete yet*

8. Now, break out the paint bucket tool

Posted Image

9. Make sure that Patter is selected and not foreground

Posted Image

10. Now when you look through the patterns you made and choose one you want to use

Posted Image

I chose the diagonal one

11. Now hold control + a or select all and then use the paint bucket to add the patter you chose

Posted Image

12. Now to blend those lines so they’re aren’t as obvious, you can choose either overlay or soft light

Posted Image

I chose Soft light

13. Ok you’re done!! Now finish up your graphic and show it to the world!!!

Posted Image

That’s the finished sig above
