I have photoshop and would learn to start skinning. Is there any skinning tutorial that I can reffere to? I need to learn what each of the abbreviations in the CSS, etc. means and how I can change those..

The Skinning Documentation Forum

and

The Skin Tools on the Website

Are both great places to start. Especially check out the CSS Cheatsheet, as that explains what does what.

On your board go to,
Admin CP >> Manage Style Sheets.
It is from that location that you'll find the CSS, which is what you'll need to edit to change the skin.

Much of skinning is a learn as you go experience, but the following generalized links will be of help to you as you learn:

If after attempting to manually edit the CSS via the Manage Style Sheets pages you decide that it is too complicated, there are alternative methods you can take. The links below are to Skin Generators located on our website that you can make a skin with.

Good luck and if you have any further questions, don't hesitate to post here.
