I know that the group icons are embedded in the titles page however, the problem with that is that they don't have anything to do with titles or post counts meaning that if you are a member of a group, it doesn't matter if you have zero posts or five thousand, you should automatically get the group icon next to you're name on whose online and in the shoutbox. Titles, as they currently are are for marking posting milestones such as one hundred posts, one thousand posts and so forth but since group, unless attained by making it to a certain post count don't have anything to do with this, this only makes things more complicated for the admins who are trying to make the place look cool by adding icons to member groups. As one such admin, I am here to suggest that a new page is added to the admin panel called Icons which allows admins to add special icons to groups and individuals without tying it down to a rather annoying post system which greatly limits our creativeness and makes us do more work trying to get around it. Thoughts? |

Group icons are a separate feature of the Admin CP that can be uploaded via the Titles section and specified when editing a group. The problem is, you cannot have both at once, but there is a code for that. Individual group icons can easily be given with a code too. The codes I speak of are minimal. The webpage idea you speak of almost sounds like an award system layout, which can easily be done with HTML on the website maker. |
