Hi all, I am in the process of modifying a theme to use on my forum.
I have chosen the "There Be Dragons" and so far, not bad.

I need some assistance with the rank pips. I preview the theme
I added and the pips are still the same as what I have on the
normal theme, What could it be that I have done wrong?

The pips I am using I added to the theme that is default for me.

Thanks for the quick reply Cory.

I copied from the list that was linked from the theme post and this is what I added:

Code:

Pip Rank Image <img src='http://z3.ifrm.com/28122/87/0/p485268/PipMid.png' alt=' * ' />

Starting Pip Rank Image <img src='http://z3.ifrm.com/28122/87/0/p485267/PipLeft.png' alt='[' />

Ending Pip Rank Image <img src='http://z3.ifrm.com/28122/87/0/p485269/PipRight.png' alt=']' />

And, this is what is listed for the default skin which I have changed to another set of pips.
Code:

Pip Rank Image <img src='http://z2.ifrm.com/static/1/pip_m.png' alt=' * ' />

Starting Pip Rank Image <img src='http://z2.ifrm.com/static/1/pip_l.png' alt='[' />

Ending Pip Rank Image <img src='http://z2.ifrm.com/static/1/pip_r.png' alt=']' />

These are the ones I uploaded to use on the theme I have right now.

I do hope you can let me know where I have gone wrong?
Do I have to change the pips back to the default for the theme I am using as default
before the new ones will show up?

Thanks ???
BTW, this is where I got the info.

So you're saying the default pips are still showing instead of the theme versions even though you changed them?

M is for Mod

I'm wondering if you uploaded the pips as titles?

If you are assigning them to the member groups on the groups edit pages, then that is the case.

To use the pips to reflect post count increases, you have to set up Default member titles for increasing post ranks in AdminCP > Menu> Users & Groups > Titles

Once this is done, the pips you install for each specific theme will appear.

The titles uploads should be used for staff badges, as they will supercede the member titles ranking pips.

If this is not your issue, you are welcome to open a support ticket from your adminCP and one of the staff can help you sort it from there.

Do you have group icons specified when editing a user group?
