Is there a way I can force only the default avatar to a specific size?

Surely resizing the image would do just that?

No but it would be the easiest since you don't know HTML. Nevertheless, if you're using the default default avatar then this should do for you...
Code:

<img src='http://z5.ifrm.com/static/1/default_av.png' alt='No Avatar' style="height:50px;width:50px" class='member' />

Change `50px` to whatever value you want it to be :)

What if it's more than the member group?

The member class in the tag is for styling. It has nothing to do with member groups :)

Thought so just wasn't 100%

So the image resizing didn't have the effect I was looking for.
How can I center this instead?

Remove class='member' and then it should be centered.

From the image in the theme right?

If so the outcome didn't change anything: http://prntscr.com/4ef5qp
