I followed the instructions. I added this sidebar to the theme->appearance. This code was placed on the top of and then it was placed on the bottom. Sidebar did not show. Is there something else this code needs? There were no instructions saying where on theme's appearance to add this code. #sidebar { padding: 10px; position: absolute; width: 150px; } #main { margin-left: 170px !important; } |

You certainly added the styling for the sidebar, but not the sidebar itself. Think of it like this: you said Make it look like X but you never specified what the it was. So, you need to find where you got the code from, and add the other part of it into the Theme Layout. Then the styling can take effect. |

How did they not look right? The styling can be adjusted for your board by the bits that you originally had in. If you want to add the content, you have to do so with the code that Lout supplied from the topic. |

I know you've deleted it now, but just know that there is a high chance of us being able to fix the sizing to whatever you want it to be. |
