2112 by Rush. It's amazing. The music just takes me to a place I've never been before. Not a lot of bands do that for me. :D

Nobody makes music like that anymore. :no:

I was gonna say Chronicles from Rush. :o

That, or both Toby Keith's and the Scorpions' Greatest Hits CD's.

Ok Computer by Radiohead is neat. Or Strange we should meet here by Idiot Pilot. Both are fine.

Who, themed. I missed that. By far it would be What To Do When You Are Dead by Armor for Sleep. It's all about being dead and going back as a ghost, which sounds weird, but I love it.

The Mars Volta album... It's entirely about someone in a coma.

<3, yes De-loused in the Comatorium was a great album, the songs revovle around the main charecter Cerpin Taxt, which goes into coma from taking a drug, my other choice is Frances The Mute by yet again The Mars Volta, which the songs are a story inspired by a diary of there friends both are good album's :).

Tough One

Nirvana->Nevermind
Nearly all the songs are about Kurt's girlf Tobi. The song Polly is about a murder/rapist where Kurt sings the song through the eyes of the rapist. Something in the Way is about Kurt "living under a birdge" next to the Wishkah river in Aberdeen? I need to get my facts straight

Nirvana->In Utero
Every song is about Courtney, Frances, and his Childhood...Even the mysterious, unknown lyrics for tourette's is believed...

The songs on those songs may have a central theme (and pwn) but that's not really the kind of album he means, more like "Concept Album"
Like MACHINA is about Glass and his band, the Machines of God, and how he hears the voice in the radio and blah blah cblah.

Rhapsody - Symphony Of Enchanted Lands II - The Dark Secret

With “Symphony of Enchanted Lands II”, Rhapsody gives us 72 minutes of Metal, a Metal they now call Film Score Metal, not Hollywood Metal, but who cares? It’s still the same old Rhapsody.
Another thing, don’t let yourself be fooled by the name, because this is not a successor to “Symphony of Enchanted Land”, at least not the story. The previous story (Emerald Sword) ended with “Power of the Dragonflame” and the story for “Symphony of Enchanted Lands II” (Dark Saga) is a totally new one, but with influences from Emerald Sword.

As with most Rhapsody albums, this one is a concept within a concept, which means the storyline on each CD stands alone, but forms part of a saga that will spread across multiple CDs. The yarn on this one revolves around a demon prince who produced seven books of evil, six have been found, only the seventh - the worst - remains, and must be found by the good guys. There are voices that sound like Gollum, a princess from the Land Of Enchanted Waterfalls, there's only one person who can find the ring - er - book … is any of this sounding familiar? No actual hobbits inhabit this story, but they may as well. There is a trek across snow covered mountains, seven immortal demons are turned to stone … the dungeons and dragons elements are all there. Suffice to say that you probably won't buy the album for the story, but the concept does add important textures to the music.

Meh, it was a two cd set for a dark/light theme:

Deliverance by Opeth
Damnation by Opeth

Acoustic + Death Metal never sounded so good. :yes:

Tis gewd, although, I prefer the acoustic work on Ghost Reveries rather than Damnation, even though its only like 2 songs.

I agree with Duality's choice, though another choice that I like is Dream Theater's Metropolis Pt2. : Scenes From A Memory.
