Virus Redirection Ads

This seems to be have been a recurring problem on ZB for a while. They've come back today and it's getting really tiring trying to work on my forum to be redirected to a virus download (good job I have protection). Is this something that could be fixed permanently? I know it's technically the ad company's fault judging by past replies in threads but surely there's a vetting process...or other ad companies...or some way to stop this happening...

:/

I've seen some very scary ads (ones that actually *look* legitimate) which is not a good thing. Most ads if you don't click anything, except for your browser's close button of course, will not instantly download. You can report bad ads to Google directly I believe, which eliminates many of these virus redirection ads, but sadly many still are made.

I don't think that's the case all the time as most of the time when this happens to me, my laptop downloads a virus without me clicking anything, just from the action of being redirected, as my anti-virus pops up saying it quarantined the file that downloaded itself
