I know the "forceads" variable is used in URLs to force ads on pages loaded by ajax so no ad credits are used needlessly, but could it also be used to disable the update to where a user is browsing. That would increase board performance as another ajax request wouldn't need to be sent to the current location to keep the correct members activity locations. It could be exploited and used to browse anonymously, but as anyone has the option to browse anonymously then it wont impact security. |
