If you have a custom domain name on your board and are not using a CNAME record for your domain (which you should be, it's what we recommend, unless you have a very good reason), you'll need to update your domain records to access the board through your domain.
So if we aren't using a CNAME record then we can no longer access our site through our domain name unless we update it?
Right, because the IP changed. So when you point your domain at an IP using an A-record, and if that IP changes (like to mitigate a giant DDoS attack, say), then your domain is pointing at effectively nothing.

The new IP for the server is: 173.192.47.158
But I recommend using a CNAME record if you can.

Many of you will notice that you have access again. Some boards, especially those on s7 will be a bit slower in having access restored. We're processing some changes as fast as we can that will let communities be reachable again. If you have a custom domain pointed using an A record you may have additional issues or inaccessibility until you update your domain DNS and caches clear.

My board is back up as well. Thank you for dealing with this.

I really hope that this issue with DDoS attacks is sorted out because this is the 4th attack against the s7/s11 server in 2014.

We hope so too, although all of the recent outages on s7/11 have been part of the same ongoing attack.

My board is up, but only if I use the w11.zet....link, not my custom links.

I'm confused on how to fix...thanks.

I use 123reg and where you have the first CNAME, you should have the zetaboards IP addy instead.

I tried that as well and it's not working for me. Neither the new IP or w11.zetaboards.com is directing properly.

My 123 Reg ip is no longer working. I had a member of staff from here point it for me last time and have no clue how to fix it.

Changing an IP address on your domain can take time for the new IP address to propagate and caches to refresh. If you've the change to the new IP address and it's still not working, try waiting 30-60 minutes to see if it resolves.
