Well here's the thing, I know I do CSS and html. But the thing is I want to plan the look of my website before placing it all together on the CSS. So I wanna know is there a way I can like, get a accurate template of my site and edit it on photoshop without starting from scratch? |

Theme prints are almost always done from scratch. People want their themes to be unique, so they generally start a new print every time. |

Here are a couple of topics that discuss the process: http://support.zathyus.com/topic/5195570/ http://support.zathyus.com/topic/5133693/ |

Hey, what about if you dont want something from scratch. I am fine with the normal themes but I would love to make some cool ones as well that would be an easy edits. I am fine with finding colors that are similar and match what I am looking for. But there is 2 tricks of themes I really want to know. And there both on this one- http://s1.zetaboards.com/Duke_Nukem/index/ (http://support.zathyus.com/topic/5084707/1/#new) I want to place in a background image. Im guessing there is a part of coding in there that does that. If so can you show me it? And 2. I can imagen how hard it was to make something see threw like that Duke Nukem one. So I aint even gonna try it. But what if I wanted to edit the colors of the fade or the color orange on the thing. Would that be easier? Let me know |

There is a Base Themes Gallery which contains base themes that are free to edit. Background images are put in via CSS for the body or even in tables. For the background on the forum itself:
You may have noticed that the background image doesn't move, and that's because the word fixed was added to prevent the image from duplicating down the page. This is a very useful technique especially if you have a lot of forums and will make your pages load faster too. As far as the transparent backgrounds are concerned, it may be a trick in the tables:
The phrase clear:both; seems to make the backgrounds transparent. Edited by Billamen, Jan 5 2015, 05:20 AM.

The best way to do a semi-transparent background is to create an image that has roughly 50% opacity and install it as a repeating background image. It can be very small, even 1px X 1px, but I usually make them a bit bigger so I can see them in my file thumbnails. Example: ![]() http://z3.ifrm.com/28122/87/0/p484895/screenmain.png You can do it with CSS opacity commands, but the problem with that is that users that have old browsers won't see it, so using the image will work over all browsers, even really old ones. You may find some ideas on backgrounds in this doc: http://docs.zetaboards.com/themes/fluid_themes |

The 'clear' CSS property has nothing to do with transparency. An RGBa color value can apply alpha transparency to a background. Before anyone else has the idea to mention it, the 'opacity' CSS property applies opacity to all child elements. |
