Is there a way to only autodirect if you have not read the post? Automatically directing you to the last post is annoying. |

Pretty much I thought there was a way by fetching the editing page strait away (like this) which could grab the forum from the #nav (exactly as cory did) but without messing up the "viewed status", but as you say, the URL requires the forum ID (for some reason) and if the user can't reply to the topic then it causes even more hassle. It can be done by clicking on topic links in a forum, but not on the main page, or if the forum contains subforums. That's ZBs constraints and is something we either need to accept can't be done and there is no workaround, or don't use the code as it has some inconsistencies if the user is unaware of these limitations. |

And it is because of these limitations that I considered the code impossible to create. It would pretty useless if only used in the forum and not the index. |

I'm going to say that since the original request was not reasonable/practical, this is going to be closed. This request was deemed impractical by our staff. This could mean that the feature you have requested is impossible to write, requires PHP and/or hosting, or requires too many AJAX requests. If you have any questions about why this request is not practical, feel free to contact DaPizzaMan . |
