Board Address: http://forum.oakislandpirates.com Board Software: ZetaBoards Description: I'm going to give some background to this request first: We have six PNG files, up to two of which we attach to the side bar of each member's post in a thread. When you hover over them, it pops up a little tooltip. Example: The SSE Graduate portion popped up when I hovered over the gold SSE badge. This script was the original script: http://z3.ifrm.com/142/141/0/p239659/tooltipawards.js (I have no idea who wrote it...) The t_award object you see in there was defined as follows in the "Below the Board" section:
When we ran out of space in the "Below the Board" area, I was asked to find a way to condense it. Result is: For the t_award part: http://z4.ifrm.com/12414/162/0/f5057614/awards_defn-2015_05_25.js For the run portion: http://z4.ifrm.com/12414/162/0/f5057602/awards_run-2015_05_25.js In the first script (http://z4.ifrm.com/12414/162/0/f5057614/awards_defn-2015_05_25.js) you see the Profile ID, which is used to attach the image to the correct account. For example, mine is 3268019, and my profile is located at http://forum.oakislandpirates.com/profile/3268019/ Now for the actual question: We want to only display the images on certain accounts, based on rank / forums group. How do I determine what that account's forum rank / group is, programmatically? Thanks. ![]() (If this is the wrong place for this post, I apologize... Where should it be?) |

Ask Viral if edits can be made to his code, because it would be easier to accomplish this editing his code then creating entirely new code. |

This request has gone a lengthy period of time without any new activity, therefore it is being marked as expired. This means that the request was typically too time-consuming or irritating for coders (who provide this service voluntarily in their free time) to complete. Thank you. |
