ZB
URL in profile field

I'm looking for a code that would allow members to choose a display name that's different then their display name since we've had various hacking attempts. The username would be what they log on as but their display name would be different.

What do you mean by not automatically?

Meaning you cannot do it the way you want, where users are able to change their display name via a profile field. It can be done where only the administrator has control over a users display name.

If it can't be applied board wide, can it be applied to just one member?

May as well do it directly via the Board Template if it needs to be applied to only one member.

Code:

<script type="text/javascript">
$('a[href*="/profile/USER_ID/"]').text('DISPLAY_NAME');
</script>
There's the simplicity of doing it via the Board Template.
