Ability to Search Within Specific Topics

How feasible would it be to add a field to the search page where users can type in the thread ID number and limit their keyword search to only posts within that topic? Most other forum softwares allow members to search within specific threads. Many of the topics on my forum are breaking 2-3k replies, and one thread is about to hit 30k. It would be really awesome if this feature or something similar could be implemented.

Perhaps if you specified a page, but to search a whole topic with the limitations of JS would be unfeasible.

Yeah, Cory said it really isn't practical as an extension made by someone here, so I thought I would recommend it as a feature that maybe the ZB development team could implement in a future update.

It would be possible to search the forum, and then filter out any unwanted topics from the search page. Doing it that way would create pages with varying nuumber of result as the unwanted topics would simply be hidden, or probably even pages with no results at all.

I know nothing of PHP/MySQL, but it seems this wouldn't be too hard of a feature to implement. Having the &t= parameter in the URL for the topic ID, it would enable you to query the database for that single topic only.
