is there a code that would automatically change the color of member name according to the theme? like if the member is an elite and the color for that is blue..and it would revert to a lighter color if theme is a dark color

You can do this with Class BBCode. In the CSS for each of your themes, place the following: .bbcode-elite { color: #fff; } Change the colour code to whatever you need per theme, and you can also change the "elite" word to something else to make each one easier to find for each group you need to do this for. Then, edit the group who's colour you want to have change per theme, and in the Prefix box place [class=elite] and in the Suffix box, place [/class]. This will cause the usergroup to look for the coding you just put into the CSS of each of your themes and use the colour you specified for that specific theme. You can use that code in your CSS multiple times for as many groups as you need. Just be sure to change the "elite" word to something different each time. For example you may use "admin" for the admin group. Edited by Moonface, Aug 13 2015, 03:32 PM.

You can use the prefix `[class=elite]` and the suffix `[/class]`. Change the word `elite` for the various groups, just remember to add the CSS for each group. Note: I did the same mistake as Moonface and forgot to add the nocode tags, so the tag was being parsed and wasn't visible

It can be done automatically as well, it will just require JavaScript. However, doing it automatically will mean finding an element to base the color off of, which means the JavaScript may end up finding a blueish color when the table cell is a blueish color, so you have a blue username on top of a blue table cell. Better doing it manually then automatically for this reason, just thought I'd mention the possibilities. |
