Posted Image Replace or remove the Kylo Ren image in the starfield
To remove, just replace the existing URL in the CSS snippet posted below with this image: http://z3.ifrm.com/28122/87/0/p522955/BkgdStarsJNPlain2015.png
To add your own image to the plain background, position your image above this plain starfield image in a graphic editing program: Save as a PNG. (use Save for Web in Photoshop to assure a color match) Host your edited image. Replace the image URL in your CSS:
Replace the URL in the background element in this section

Posted Image Changing the colors of the Light Saber category headers
Default light saber images are green. Red and Blue Images are provided so that you can change the color of the light saber beams in a specific category header if you wish. The coding for this is already included at the bottom of the CSS. However, you will have to edit in your own category ID numbers in order to make the alternate images appear.

Choose which category on your board you wish to change and obtain the category ID by hovering over the category name. (The category ID number will appear at the end of the URL in your status bar.) Replace the existing number in the CSS code at the bottom of your CSS with your own category ID number:

Posted Image BLUE SABER:
Code:

/*Blue Saber */
#cat-YOURCATEGORYNUMBERHERE .h2right {
background-image:url(http://z3.ifrm.com/28122/87/0/p521959/H2endLongCyan.png);
}

Posted Image RED SABER:
Code:

/* Red Saber */
#cat-YOURCATEGORYNUMBERHERE .h2right {
background-image:url(http://z3.ifrm.com/28122/87/0/p521961/H2endLongRed.png);

Where are these "Light saber animations"?

The expand/collapse function activates the animation. Click the red button on the hilt of the sabers on the index and you'll see it. :)

You'll have to log in on the test board to see it there. There are test account log-in details posted on the forum index.

(Or, while the theme is still in the theme selector on this support forum, select the theme while logged in here.)

I'll update the topic to make that more clear.

Hi, I added this theme, but I'm getting one slight difference. On your preview page up there, the way the light sabers look on the main page, with the hilts.. I ony get the colored part of the saber to show up, not the hilt. I see the hilt if I collapse the category, and when I go to expand it, the hilt flashes quickly, but then disappears and only the lighted part shows up. I'm guessing it's not supposed to work that way, right? Cuz on your page, you can see the hilts along with the full saber.

I copied everything just as you have it, so I don't know what could be different. Any ideas on what could be causing that and how I can fix it? Thanks.

Can you post your board link? If you would rather not, please open a personal support ticket and we can talk to you from there.

I can post a few pics to show you how it looks, if that'll help..

Spoiler: click to toggle

See the light goes all the way to the left of the screen, with no hilt showing. But if I collapse the categories, they do show up..

Spoiler: click to toggle

Sorry. Doesn't help. We need access to your actual board to troubleshoot. There could be another code interfering, or maybe some typo in the installation. Something is blocking the collapse hilt image. There is no way to tell what it is without looking at your board.

Well, I don't think there could be a typo, cuz I didn't type anything on my own, I only copied and pasted everything as you had it.

It's no biggie, don't bother with it. I probably won't keep it on the board anyway. Not many themes get used there, but I thought I'd try this one.

The typo could be one missing character from the copy & paste for instance. You can try checking this section of the CSS that contains the image that is not displaying for you. See if it matches what you have: (found at the bottom of the CSS in the Light Saber Fade Animation section)
Code:

.h2left {
background-image:url(http://z3.ifrm.com/28122/87/0/p521968/H2startLShiltOpen.png);
}

I've tested the codes posted in the topic (just to rule out that there wasn't a copy/paste error there) and the test theme does not reproduce your problem. So this seems to be a problem specific to your board set up.

I would be happy to help if you send me the link to your board or if you open a Theme Ticket from your Admin CP.

Glad you are enjoying it. You have a nice banner concept.

You could make it fit a bit better by decreasing the top padding on the #logo img area (in which case it might be better to use the plain starfield background) , and increasing the top padding on the #nav. That way, it will fill the space better and not overlap your navigation trail.
