Is there a code that would allow me to disable the shoutbox for certain player ids or even groups? (group preferably) |

This is a built-in feature of the shoutbox. Just go to Admin CP >> Board Customization >> Shoutbox and change the Shoutbox Permissions. |

These you mean?![]() Those are permissions masks that you can apply to usergroups. If you would like to restrict a usergroup from having shoutbox access, create a permission mask for that group only and then uncheck the box to remove their ability to post in the shoutbox.

Here's how I do it. 1. In the ACP under the Users & Groups category, click on Forum Access. You'll see the area that has "Create New Permission Set". Select the group you want to base the new permission mask on and hit Create New Permission Mask. The name of the new mask can be whatever you want. You can change which sections they can see, read posts in, post in, etc.; but if you just want to change the Shoutbox permissions you can leave everything as it is and click on the Add Mask button at the bottom. 2. Go to the Groups page and make a new group based on an existing group, such as your default Members group, but make sure you assign the group the new permission mask you just made. 3. Go back to the Shoutbox Access page and your new permission mask should be there, so you can adjust how that group can interact with it. 4. Move over the users you desire to that new group and you should be done. These should help in case I forgot something. http://docs.zetaboards.com/acp/users/permissions?s[]=permission http://docs.zetaboards.com/admin/createspecial Edited by Gaomon274, Feb 23 2016, 05:12 PM.
