Is there a chance to get a version of this that automatically links directly to the image instead of to the image host's homepage? |

I like the view tracking feature. That's something I haven't seen on other image hosts I've used. Love that it deposits the bbcodes in the posting screen too. |

This is great, i have been using this on mine, being able to display the images rather than going through PB or other, its important for us to have this on our graphics support board, it also takes away the worry of worrying about attachments and if the images are to big or whatever, this feature it a great for our site. |

The intent is to hopefully have some follow through traffic to the hosting providers website. As this is an absolutely free service, a visitor or two to try and generate some pocket change from advertisement views doesn't seem too much to ask
Thank you mam, we are trying to be unique! By the way, if you come up with something else you'd like to see added to IHC services, please let us know and we will look into implementing it.
Aw, shucks, thanks! Want to become famous? If you join Image Host Club, not only do you get great benefits from membership, you will also be listed on the Memberlist. This page lists your username, date joined, number of images you have uploaded and has a direct link to your personal image gallery! So far we have received some great feedback on this code and the services of IHC. If you are using our code/services, please take a moment to let us know your opinions. What do you think about the installation process to your Zetaboards forum? What do you think of the actual uploader and it's function on your forum? What do you think of the website and it's functions? What would you do to improve the code and/or web services we are providing? We look forward to your valuable responses!!

Thank you, sir! Let's discuss image tracking for a moment. When you use the image uploader, the posting box is populated with a link to Image Host Club and a "short" address to the image you uploaded.
Our systems will monitor for every use of that images address and will automatically record each view. When you are logged into the IHC website, there are several different opportunities to see the views of uploaded images. For instance: Within the "My Account" page, you are provided with a summary of how many images you have uploaded and the total number of views of all your uploads: ![]() If you visit your personal gallery, you can see exactly how many views each image has specifically had: ![]() Don't worry though, only you (when logged in) can see this information. Others won't see the view count of uploaded images (logged in our not): ![]() Views are recorded in two ways. When you use the "short" address to your image and when your image is displayed on our "view-image" page. The view image page is reached when someone clicks an image being displayed in a Gallery (public gallery or your personal gallery). For example, the first image in JohnBoy's Gallery is the blue and white gradient image. If a viewer was to click on that image in his gallery, they would be taken to a page that shows only that image and has all the embedding/sharing links provided. By visiting that page, and viewing the image there, the view count for that image has increased by one. This way you can keep track of how many actual views your image has gotten. If the viewer took the time to click on the thumbnail in a gallery, then they must have wanted to actually see the image ![]() We hope this is a valuable feature to you. Should you have any ideas/opinions on how we can improve the services at Image Host Club, please don't hesitate in letting us know! Happy Image Uploading Edited by Skyon Archer, Jun 1 2016, 08:26 PM.

Thank you, Xterminate. Just added a new feature to the My Gallery page in which you can see specifically how many "unique" visitors have seen your uploaded image. As well, there will be a list of how the image was viewed (as in was it directly accessed by typing in the image address, embedded on a specific website, etc.). If the image is on a website, the list will show the actual page address displaying your image. As well, you will see the date and time that the image was viewed by someone. This is a great way to see where your image is being displayed, when it's being viewed the most and overall offers you great analytics! Just click on the link under your images displaying how many views an image has received and you will be redirected to the information page. Don't worry about privacy with this new feature. Only you can see the information for your image. If someone tries to manipulate the address of the page to show information about your image, since it's not their image, they will be returned a message instead of information. We hope this new feature makes us just a little different than all the rest and drives you to continue using Image Host Club.

I own another website, http://miz.im, which is a URL (address) shortening service. I have just integrated that service into the Image Host Club website to provide even shorter addresses to the uploaded images. Now, when you view the image on the "view image" page, you'll be provided the short(er) url. Example: Notice at the top, you are given two short URL's to use: http://go.imagehost.club/46e708b0 and http://miz.im/ut9qh So, you now have an even shorter address to use to share your image with others. Additionally, miZim offers some great statistics for their short address. If you simply add a plus sign + to end of your short miz.im address, you'll see what I'm talking about. For instance, adding a plus to the above address would look like this http://miz.im/ut9qh+ Visit that page and you'll see traffic statistics, traffic locations, traffic sources and more for their link. So, using the short addresses provided you can get statistics for either short address, depending upon which one you choose to use (if either). I hope this provides you another option in deciding to make Image Host Club your image hosting provider of choice! |

paintsn, I don't think you should have any issues in operating the uploader. It's pretty straightforward. Oh, by the way, I've noticed that some of your members seem to be uploading really large images (large width/height). Maybe you could mention to them that they should resize them before uploading for display on your forum. That way the layout doesn't get all messed up from the giant images. Plus it won't make your site take a long time to display all those giant images ![]() Nonetheless, I thank you for your kind words and hope you continue to use the Image Host Club uploader! If you want to provide directions for using the uploader, here's the directions from my first post that you put into a topic on your forum:
