actually, Ross is referring to the Christian God, otherwise known as Yahweh. And in my eyes, that doesnt refer to just any god. Muslims believe in Allah, who is a completely different god than Yahweh, Elyon, or Jehovah. so? are you now saying that because your dad "is a christian" and stated his opinion on an issue that ross can not "be a christian" because he has a difference of opinion? talk about stereotyping.. |

So your all-powerful God can't do everything like every televangelist wants me to think? Hmm.. Seems fishy. Why couldn't the most powerful being do everything? Answer me! |

first of all, the majority of televangilists do not represent the majority of Christians, yet another stereotype. second of all, it seems as if you havent read a word, and i refuse to keep attempting to explain a topic that is obviously very far over your head. obviously you refuse to believe any logic other than your own, which in reality isnt logic at all. have a nice day

Luckily, whether God can make some rock he can't move isn't a defining point in my faith. Nor is making a burrito so spicy he can't eat it. I honestly don't care what the Tele-evangelists say. They sure as heck don't define my faith. I strongly believe that God can do anything in his will, and those items like making some big rock he can't move, don't fall into that will. |

Like I said earlier, that is where faith comes into my religion. All scripture is "God breathed," so yes I believe in it's validity. And as I have told everyone else who questions it, read "The Case for Christ." |

actually, i let the man who was slayed and murdered in order to let me live, all while he hadnt done a thing, while knowing full-well i would continously rebel against him, define my faith. |

Say what you want Remzo, I have to comment. Once more, you guys seem to worship the bible instead of God whom the bible is glorifing. Can you honestly say if he wanted to, God couldn't just destroy himself? It doesn't make sense just to believe the book, because the book limits what an all powerful being can do. Just my $0.02 |

Rewording other intelligence again, eh? I shall quote from above:
I'm interested into seeing what your personal thoughts are on this issue instead of the thoughts of others. So far you have simply restated other posts *-) |

first, the Bible wasnt written just to "glorify" God, its one of God's ways of communication. it isnt some idol. second, do you not get it? let me put it on an elementary reading level. God said that he would be eternal, or forever God said that he can not lie God said that the Bible is true because God said the Bible is true, then if you want to put it your way, i guess he is "limiting himself" to what the Bible says. he has done much more humbling things. he has been spit on, cut, speared, and crucified by the very beings he was trying to save. the fact that he states that whatever he says is true, and he says things in the Bible, and he states that what the Bible says is true, then the Bible is true in "my eyes". its called communication. not limitation.

If God is all powerful, he should be able to make a rock he can and cant lift at the same time causing some sort of impossible miracle. Though god wont exist eventually, when there is no one to believe in him anymore, and everything that did is long dead. ~ Crimson |

Just answer the ****in question. Obviously he can. God does not need to lift weights to get stronger...duh. He is already strong enough to lift anything he needs. |
