If God is all powerful, he should be able to make a rock he can and cant lift at the same time causing some sort of impossible miracle. Though god wont exist eventually, when there is no one to believe in him anymore, and everything that did is long dead.
~ Crimson
Well people have believed in him since before time, and people will continue to still believe in his existance for all of eternity. He has existed even 'before' the angels were created, and he will continue to exist. Us and the angels belief in his existence has nothing to do with His existence.

God cannot sin because if, for example, God commits murder, the murder would not become a sin anymore, and would become godly. And any being as powerful as God can easily destroy themselves.
And if the answer to that question is no, then he cannot create the rock therefore he is not omnipotent.
Just answer the ****in question. Obviously he can. God does not need to lift weights to get stronger...duh. He is already strong enough to lift anything he needs.
Read the topic..? and just wow...
Um..ok I did. The question was "can God create a rock that is bigger than he can lift?" And some people were like "durr he can create a rock bigger than he can lift." Well, obviously not because he created the Earth and the Universe, both are pretty heavy things if you ask me.
fag.

Adding to that. Everything exists in the mind of God. And he can control everything in his mind, so if he couldn't control it, it wouldn't be in his mind. Therefore to be bigger than he can control, it would have to exist outside of his 'mind.' And that is impossible.

According to the bible, he can do anything he wants.
So that is very hard to say. Good question.

Yes, in a sense, he does. Because he is all-knowing, therefore he knows what happens everywhere at all times. I didn't say that's all he 'thinks' about though. God doesn't really have to think, he knows. The universe exists because he wants us to.

Hahaha Remzo I feel for you.

Even if the Bible were the "words of God", they could've easily been distorted/misunderstood/mistranslated. Humans are fickle and imperfect, God is absolute. Why do you insist upon putting the work of a human before the logic of God?
Do you think God, knowing that there would be millions to follow the creation of the Bible would believe it and take it word for word, would let it become misunderstood or distorted?
