The NBA is international. For one thing, Toronto has a team. And for another, there are more non-American players active now than at any other time in league history. The reason the NBA doesn't have franchises in Asia, Europe, or elsewhere is that the cost of travel would be enormous and the schedules would be almost impossible with 80-plus games each season. |
