There are a lot of other good Graphics programs... Just make graphics and know how to color coordinate. |

Adobe Photoshop is the preferred graphic tool for creating gradients on the skin, read my following post for information on coding them: |

On your board go to, Admin CP >> Manage Style Sheets. It is from that location that you'll find the CSS, which is what you'll need to edit to change the skin. Much of skinning is a learn as you go experience, but the following generalized links will be of help to you as you learn:
If after attempting to manually edit the CSS via the Manage Style Sheets pages you decide that it is too complicated, there are alternative methods you can take. The links below are to Skin Generators located on our website that you can make a skin with. You don't have to be REALLY good with MS paint. You just need to know how to make gradients with it. You can also use MS Word or Powerpoint, or some other graphics program such as paintshop or photoplus |
