Some models and people want to be so skinny, that they resort to having an operation for removing part of their ribs, which is just ridiculous and sad. I mean, do we want girls looking like this?

noone replied in this topic for some time? well im going to anyways.. well i dont know apparently im skinny and for about 2 months i been seeing someone about it but that didnt work, so on thursday i will be going to a client for months 2-5 months living there and i have anoerxia.. im only going to the client if i dont do my target what is put 3 pounds on in 3 weeks and i havnt managed too, im 15 and now i cant sleep or anything so i havnt been to school alot.. i want to eat but stop myself.. i want to eat chocolate and i do but as much as i want to and if i do.. i dont drink or eat anything all day and it doesnt matter if your fat or skinny..it unhealthy to be to skinny it worse then being alot overweight, some people are just to shallow. People think it easy to eat and put on weight but they dont understand, it not and if you never liked yourself and finally when you do this everyone stops picking on you. but apparently i never been big in all my life but i still think i am and you can see all my bones i guess, and i still think my stomach sticks out but it go in anymore because of my organs etc. And if you do eat more then breakfast you feel guilty and you cant work, you either think about what you are gonna have later on in the day or in the morning or you either think about you shouldnt of eatten that. So anyway yeh i think being fatter is healthier.. and if you are to skinny you can die of it. I think you should be proud of who you are, dont go on diets unless you are in danger and just eat normally and you will be alright we are all different! |

hmm tough one i dont dislike or disagree with any body shape, atleast to a certain extent. i believe you should be how you want (sounds corny i know lol ^^) but if you want to be 9999KG do it just dont expect sympathy or anything else for your choices, i dont mind people having views/opinions aslong as they dont force those views onto other people. I have no priblem with fat or or skinny people im quite skinny myself but i dont go around saying it or making it loud and clear that i like/dislike the way i look. If you dont like it change it............. |

Bottom line is - there's a reason that the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition sells more than all the other Sports Illustrated for the rest of the year. People want to see skinny models. It's only a wise business choice to put skinny models in your magazine instead of overweight ones: more people will buy it. What exactly do you want to do, pass a law saying that magazines must use fat models? The only reason anyone ever complains is because they're jealous. If you're really proud of who you are, quit whining and bitching. |

Honestly, people are a bit too critical about judging how other people look. I honestly would like to look beneath the appearances, perhaps face the actual personality, and I strongly disagree with this fact:
People don't only complain because they're jealous, sometimes people are comfortable with who they are. I think most people who complain might be jealous, but people also object to the fact that no one looks beyond the exterior, no one tries to look beneath the skinny or fat factor. No one is willing to see the character of the individual. It's all about appearances to some. And I get that, you can be happy with what you have, but if people are applying their views onto others, how people are supposed to look and such, then that's just wrong. And besides, magazines such as Sports Illustrated are just a bunch of bull sh**, they just promote the whole idea of stereotypes and such. |

Real models have to work hard to get a good looking body why should people who don't have to work hard get to be the same. |

True, but why does it have to come to the point where you have to work hard to keep a body to get noticed intellectually or emotionally? |
