Roundabouts are at junctions in the road.. but instead of lights like in Yanksville.. everyone can move around them and go off in any direction without a wait.

It's so simple, we have them everywhere here, millions of them.. yet I was amazed to find out the other day that America has no roundabouts.

Crazy.

Bercause unlike any other country, Americans have learned patience, and we can wait at traffic lights.

And we have a lot more cars on the road. This could cause a lot of traffic jams or even more car crashes. Traffic lights are safer, and no one I know has complained about the wait. Besides, if you knew anything about traffic lights, the wait is only about 30 seconds long.

American cars either turn at right angles or not at all. If they had roundabouts there'd be constant pile-ups.

Mmm it depends sometimes. on location too. Some roundabouts can get very annoying.

Roundabouts.

Instead of junctions hyou should have roundabouts like every other normal country.

We do have roundabouts. At least in Nevada we do. "Every other normal Country"......America is America. I don't know what your history teacher taught you but America is normal.

So, basically, if your country doesnt have a roundabout - your country is not normal :|

I live in England, and we have loads of roundabouts

.. not have roundabouts?

You've never been to Spartenburg, have you?

Try having 2 major highways, 1 interstate offramp, and 2-4 side streets all going into a roundabout. It was a nightmare.

And we have one in Farrigut that I know of. I think they like em too

EDIT: Here, look at this

Roundabouts are perfectly safe with large volumes of traffic as long as you have a basic understanding of how to drive. If anything they are safer because there is more of a steady stream of traffic instead of all the stopping and starting.

Anyway from what I understand America does have roundabouts but they are no where near as common or frequent as other countries.
