I had a Vegan band teacher last year, we picked on her for it (one kid brought in a turkey on the last day of school for her xD).

Anyway.. :r

She ate a lot of salads and soups. But she also drank a lot of protein shakes though she made sure she was still getting all of the vitamins she missed from not eating meats.

Good luck with that decision Cody. :)

I respect you going veggie, but I'm just saying don't listen to [Filtered]. :r Good luck with your new diet, though. :)

You're an idiot. You may be guilted into becoming vegetarian, because you think its cruel, however you must realise that animals eat other animals all the time to survive, and you need meat to stay physically and mentally strong. Its the circle of life.

I totally agree with that...

I tried that for like a month a couple of years ago. It wasn't because I cared about animals (:P), but I actually don't care for many meats. I'll eat a lot of them; I can just do without them. So I tried going without them for a month just to see if I could.

why did u become a vegetarian?

I find it disgusting that you can eat meat and be cruel to animals. When you are eating meat, you have basically committed to taking an animals life away. :/

So it's better to commit yourself to taking a plant's life away?

I don't mean to pry, it's just that I see too many people rush into vegetarianism for the wrong reasons.

I would've thought you would know the difference between taking a life of an animal who has emotions, is aware of their life; over something that doesn't...

Don't do it Cody! Don't jump!

Literally man; I know people that have tried, it's impossibly difficult to do it and stay healthy. Meat, man need meat. Eat meat, Cody. Meat, good.

How about we cut the flaming on both sides? :/

Also, I'd prefer this topic not become a debate over the matter of becoming (or not becoming) a vegetarian, as that would be a ways off the original subject, which was only asking for vegetarian-to-vegetarian suggestions on the matter of choosing vegetarian foods, not your thoughts on whether being vegetarian is right or wrong. If you'd like a place to discuss such business, go make a new topic. Don't use this one, please.
