Michigan by a long shot. Florida is the epitome of a high school football team: pansy quarterback, obese tailback. Michigan played Ohio State (and looked like a pro team). Florida played, uh, Western Carolina. And looked like Florida. |

Michigan....its so unfair for them to not be in the national championship...they played great all year, and lost to the team that has been #1 the entire season, so its kind of bull $#!t how they don't get in. |

They lost to Ohio State, exactly. Who wants to see a re-match? Ohio State will beat Michigan again, and the game won't even be competitive, and the voters realized this. I'm not saying Florida will win, or keep it close, but they deserve a chance. Florida's only loss was to Auburn who is a good team, too. With the schedule Florida has, it is unfair to not put them in the title game after going 12-1.

You're a moron and a homer. #1) IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE. The idea is that it's based fully on the strength of the team. #2) Thanks for predicting the outcome of a game that won't be played for a month, Ms. Cleo. #3) First off, considering the phrase that Auburn is a "good team," well, they aren't. And even better, THEY AREN'T AS GOOD AS OSU, WHO MICHIGAN LOST TO. |

It was my opinion, Ken. Just like your opinion is that supposedly I a moron and a homer. We all know the outcome of the match-up earlier this year, and I just couldn't see the outcome being any different in a re-match.

I want to see a rematch, along with a decent amount of people who follow college football. How do you know Ohio State will beat them again? And you have no clue that it won't be competitive. And about it being unfair for Florida, if USC had beaten UCLA, would it still have been unfair for Florida not to be in? Hell, if you want to say that, then it was unfair for Boise State not to be in the national championship, going undefeated. They did all tehy can do. Imagine being told at the beginning of the year, "If Ohio State goes undefeated, and so do we, then there is no chance of us getting into the national championship." THAT is unfair. Michigan destroyed Notre Dame, which had an OUTSIDE chance of getting into the national championship before the USC game. They barely lost to the uncontested best team in the country, yet still couldn't get into the national championship. Only way to solve this is with a playoff format.

Supposed to vote for who is the better team out of the two, not whether or not you want to see them against them again. Michigan should be playing. |
