No, I certainly don't agree with his policies. After all, most of them are theisticly based and against the constitution.

Im sure that Mrs Sim can read my mind at times. I just dont agree with them at all and it hurts me more when i think of the fact that im half American.

The main reason that I say yes is becasue of what he had to go through.  9/11 would have been a hard thing to handle regardless of whoever was in office.  Sure, some of his ideas/policies etc. have been just plain stupid, but I think he handled it good enough.

It's called being a president. They go through things.

And my answer is no.

No, he basically picked up where his father left off. His first term in office, he had nearly the same cabinet as George Bush, Sr.

Only problem is... these are different times now then when his father was President.

Nope. We are in Iraq until it has a stable government, which will never happen. It's turning into another Vietnam.

Even though I have mostly liberal views, I have to vote Yes. I approve of nearly everything he has done. The Patriot Act does bug me, but not really a top issue for me. I have nothing to hide, so who cares who sees it? If you don't have anything to hide, you shouldn't care that much either.

My vote stands at yes for now, we'll see how the next two years go though. :)

This thread made me laugh out loud (literally).

You're asking a bunch of 12-15 year olds, most who haven't had a job let alone pay taxes, support themselves, or see life after high school, what their approval rating of our president is... all you're going to get is the answer the media wants them to have.

There's no qualifications to have an opinion. Whether it's an intelligent one or one that has complete logic in it. I doubt the consensus of the SZ is taking this poll into serious thought. :santa1:

I'm not like everyone else and I'm not going to jump on he "I hate bush" bandwagon. So I agree with almost all of his policies, and I support Bush. But I do not agree with everything he does; At the same time, I've never agreed with everything a certain president has done.

Well bushs laws go against the constitution. I mean he almost forced the legistlatures to start the war. He thinks that if hes president that he rules america. Firsrt off the goverment is divided and if bush can't relize that then he'd better retake fourth grade!

No, but I don't honestly think I'd feel any differently about any of the other candidates that could be president in his place. Mostly I'm not sure I agree with where the government is going in general, but that aside I still think the United States is a great place to live. I've got my disagreements with the country for sure, but I am still thankful for all the opportunities available to me here.

True, but not many have had to go through a crisis even close to 9/11.

Believe it or not, although so far this is only a small sample of the "voters" here, the approval ratings are somewhat similar. 39% of adults approve George Bush's role as President, compared to 31% (so far) here, so it has some relevance.
