The story. Drags. On.
I'd rather have a long one than a short one a la Halo..
I'd rather have a short, good story than a overly long one. :ermm:

I haven't completed GTA yet, and probably never will. I don't really care how it ends.
How is a 30 hour game overly long? It's called value for money. All games used to give you that before it was all about the graphics.

I agree with Meltdown... I miss when games took me a month to beat rather than a weekend of solid playing. That's why I'm such a huge Final Fantasy fan, they're always long games that can still manage to stay ahead of everyone in graphics, sound, and usually story (before X-2).

I didn't specifically mean GTA was overly long, but when a game artifically extends its length by sidetracking you rather than just focussing on the story it's annoying. For example, Zelda: The Wind Waker up until the point the developers thought the game was too short and they needed to make it longer by putting a hopeless, boring, extremely long fetch the items quest towards the end of the game. It's not really value for money when the quality drops just to make the game longer... I mean, youv'e got games like Portal which was about 2 hours long but I would have literally payed £40 for it alone because it was so good.

Oh, and just to show I'm not AGAINST long games, I'm also a huge Final Fantasy fan...

Got "Under the Radar" and "One Man Army" this morning - Under The Radar was a ***** and took about six attempts, but One Man Army was one of the easiest thus far.

Are there actually any good games worth buying?

The BF: Bad Company demo was awful.

Lost Odyssey if you've ever loved a good RPG.

The Bad Company demo wasn't that bad. The singleplayer was shit but if I get it, it'll be for the multiplayer.

tf2 is one of the best shooters on 360, but the lag is terrible.

Got back into halo. Sometimes it could be the sexist game ever, and most of the times it's frustrating and stressful.

Sorry to say that it is much much better on a computer(I have both versions).

However it is still fun on Sbox, and as for the servers, it is incredibly hard to find one sometimes, but if you keep tying, you will find at least 5-10.
