I know there was gonna be a catch, but why use up space just to still put in the disk. They should have it where you install the game you put like its bar code at the back so you can't copy it and shit. don't wanna waste 7 gb.

Still waiting on Microsoft to send me an email so they can take my 360 away and repair /replace it. I'll hopefully have my 360 back fro Christmas along with 4-5 games :)

Finished the first Gears on Casual today, did the ending bit quite stylishly.
Now do it on insane. :P

And Guitar Hero III get. I've 5 starred all songs except for Raining Blood on easy right now. Raining Blood takes the p*ss.

So many good games out/coming soon it's sickening. D:

Mirrors Edge
Left 4 Dead
Star Ocean
The Last Remnant

Can't decide which one to go for.

Not Mirror's Edge. I also saw The Last Remnant didn't get that great a review on GI...don't know how it is, though.

I had some decent fun with the Mirrors Edge demo, and Fraust seems to be enjoying The Last Remnant haha.

Meh I'll probably end up renting if Blockbuster has them in.

The Last Remnant is by far the greatest game I've gotten for the 360 yet. It has everything I love: in-depth story, great characters, awesome new battle system, lush environments, and it adds so many features that old RPG's never had like automatic healing after every battle (since they're a lot harder now), saving your game literally anywhere and loading in the exact spot instead of like the beginning of the dungeon, and shortcuts for world map/city map stuff. It's just awesome.

No J-RPG is gonna get a good review anymore unless it's Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts, even if they're by Square-Enix themselves because everything gets compared to the older, legendary classic games. It's unfair and bias, but whatever. If you love RPG's, buy Last Remnant. I highly doubt you'll be disappointed.

Thanks, I agree. Since KH and Final Fantasy have pretty much dominated the RPG scene (Kingdom Hearts wasn't even that good) no RPG is going to get a good review anymore. I remember Blue Dragon got low scores but when I played it, I loved it, as did roughly half of the people I knew with the game.

wtf does that have to do with anything? installing the game means that the disc won't spin whatsoever, which goes a long way to eliminating RRoDs, as well as killing any noise (one of the only major complaints from PS3 people).

I have zero interest in any new games lately. I never liked GOW (so overrated), and COD5 pretty much sucks. I'm still sticking with Halo 3, and that's sad.

Installed Oblivion on mine thinking it would make it run faster (kill the annoying loading and startup time (dlc)) but it didn't, now it's actually started to freeze my game. >.>

You have to check the game's site before you do so. Some games are optimally run on the disc, and will run much slower on the HDD. Bungie sent a message to all Halo users warning against installing the game, because it'd slow things down.

It depends on the scenario. It'll greatly help most games, but there are a few (primarily in online play) that will not benefit.
