Greatest NFL Player?

In all time, not just right now (because the majority would say LT :P )

For me, it would have to be my childhood favorite, Deion Sanders. This man was possibly one of the best corner backs in history, and had many interceptions. He got to the point where no QB would even bother or dare throw his way. Not only would be play defense, he would also play offense. On the Cowboys, he would play for 50 percent of their offensive plays and 80 percent on defense. He's also one of the only NFL players to have played in the Superbowl and World Series.

Emmit Smith. My Dad has his autograph <3

Plus, it's the only player I really know. I don't usually pay attention to the NFL.

Did a project on him, saying he was the best ever and I'm gonna stick with him.

Jerry Rice is the best player ever in my opinion. He has oblitered every record for an NFL WR by wide margins, AND he has plenty of rings to back it up.

I honestly don't think having a Super Bowl defines greatness. Dan Marino is, IMO, the greatest player ever. He is an indivudual, and individuals do not win championships, so that should be a moot point.

Look at the numbers...thats what it comes down to.

I have to go with Deion aswell since I used to go watch his games years back. He was a very exciting player to watch.

Jerry Rice. What he did and how consistent he was, playing wide reciever where you take tons of hits, is amazing. He didn't have the physical skills like Randy Moss, but he kept playing at a high level even when older and has Super Bowl rings to show for it. He is the best ever and was one of the true hard workers who played the game because he loved it.

Oh, it's easilly LT. No question. No contest. He's the reason sacks started to be listed. Anyone who creates rules for the sport is amazing, especially if they can tell the O lineman which hole he's going through and still beat the lineman off the ball and to the spot. No one was or will be better.

When I read your first sentece, I thought you were talking about LaDainian Tomlinson...I was about to say...how in the hell can you say he is already the best player in NFL history...he may be when its all said and done...

But yeah, the real LT is a good choice too...but I still have to say Marino.
