I agree that Scientology is no less "crazy" than Christianity. It is however far more violent, cult-like, and scandolous than any other modern large religion.

And while I'm a Christian, I can understand how it would seem ridiculous to a society that had never heard of it. The concept of God, however, not Genesis mythology, is the true basis of Abhrahamic religions, and that concept is no stranger to anyone.

Just as crazy as christianity.
I hate it, along with all religion.

Though, I don't hate the concept of religion and the people that believe in it.

Although I'm not Christian, Christianity is no where near as stupid as Scientology. Christianity doesn't require you to believe in aliens taking over our bodies and volcanos destroying the earth and Xenu and Theta and all that crap.

Christians believe in creationism, isn't that just as crazy if you think about it? We only see christianity as a norm because we are so used to hearing about it. But if you were just told about crhistianity, you'd be just as weirded out. Christians blame Adams arrogance for eating an apple for all the indecencies and wrongness, for lack of a better word, in the world.

Don't tell me that's not crazy.

I believe in Creationism too, so that part isn't crazy to me. I see no reason why God couldn't have been the One behind the Big Bang (I also believe in it) As for Adam, I don't think eating the apple is the the proverbial "Pandora's Box" Christians make it out to be. All of sin and misery would have existed anyway but Adam eating the apple just landed us on Earth. Getting back on topic, although I do not share all of its beliefs, those of Chistianity don't seem crazy to me. Or at least not as crazy as Scientology.

Well, of course, you were born and raised by it. Even if you weren't like me, since it's such a frequent topic, it's not weird to me at all. But, that's only because it's so common. Lets try to flip the switch for a second. Lets say you were born and scientology was brought on to you and was just as common as christianity, and christianity is some religion that some famouse actor got into and then hearing about it, it sounds just as crazy. It's the same level of crazy-ness. You can either accept its existince and stop the contradictory argument about how odd and wierd sciontology is. Or you can just simply have weak feelings towards both religions.

How crazy the beliefs aside, how about the fact that Scientology charges you money?
