,Jan 15 2007, 05:42 AM] You guys (especially Rezurreckted or however you spell it) are being far too mean about this. Yes, she died for a video game system, but she died for her children. Parents die for their children almost every day, just to see them happy. Sure, this death wasn't "traditional" but does that give you the right to act like people have never died doing dumber things? Didn't think so. The woman is dead, her three children (who must be fairly young- less than 17 would be my guess) have to continue their lives with the loss of a parent, and who knows where the father is. Even if you disagree with her death, she died for her kids. Surely you can sympathize with that.

LEARN 2 SPELL!

Excuse me? Is this a lesson is spelling coming from a person WHO TYPES IN ALL CAPS and uses a number 2 instead of the word "to"? How clever of you, or should I say, how clever of "u", just to suit your purpose. Don't be stupid.

Haha. Dip****. That was the point. Don't be stupid.

You both must have the collective intelligence of a brick. There was no point to Evil Banana's comment. (S)he was just being an idiot. Just like you are.

And to ExiledSoldier: I don't think the kids would want the Wii in the first place...since their mother died for it. I understand what you mean, but if I was in their shoes, I wouldn't want to see the system ever again.

It's her own fault for being stupid.

In fact, she deserves a Darwin award.

A woman just died for a stupid Wii.

If a friend of yours got shot in a war, would you call them stupid for fighting for their country?

This woman had no idea it would happen, water intoxication is a silent killer.

Another important bit of information on not to do once you do get a Wii:

Your 'comeback' was incredibly lame and awkward. Just pointing that out.

I don't think a Wii compensates for prematurely losing your mother. :(

I'd blame the radio station. How the hell can you hold a contest like this and not know about the dangers?

I'm on the fence on this one but I do agree with what Ryan said whole heartedly. That radio station needs the **** sued out of them.

I will say this, sure water intoxication is rare, sure not many people know about it. Sure it was a tragedy but there could have been other ways the mom could have got her kids a Wii. She could have saved money, even a little bit at a time. She could have taken a loan out to get one. She was looking for an easy way to get something without stopping to wonder about what might go wrong. Now, despite the fact the mother was a 'tard, the children suffer and the radio station will end up getting off free due to a waiver of liability clause that each contest probably signed before the contest started.

My question is; did the runner up get the Wii?
