The end of the world will likely be down to the Earth's death caused by the Sun's exhaustion of its gases and subsequent Super Nova. I suspect the end of humanity will come long before then. The world works in cycles and we're more than likely going to face more Ice Ages or similarly destructive periods of severe weather. I doubt we will adapt to them all. There's also the possibility of another meteor striking us at some point. Although, this is assuming we don't leave this planet before all this happens. If we do, the Earth's end will be insignificant sadly and humanity will likely continue far beyond its intended extinction. Even so, a virus remains one of the single most lethal and real methods of extinction. Our immune system is getting worse with each passing generation and the more we rely on antibiotics the stronger viruses become as they adapt and evolve new strands to combat our limited defense.
Global Warming isn't just a human-induced phenomenon. It's actually a natural cycle. Look at history; the changes in our climate from the days of fiery volcanic lands to the era of ice right up to today evolved through Global Warming. Whilst we do add to it and increase the speed at which our environment is evolving, it's unlikely we can stop it. If we did we'd be defying evolution, a cycle that has been since the beginning of our world. I can't imagine the world entering a standstill would be healthy for us or the flora and fauna. It seems a tad far fetched that scientists could possibly stop it, or even prevent it from affecting us. Short of leaping off the world, it's going to happen and we will be affected - when, how much and how rapidly is dependent on how much we put into the atmosphere but it's inevitable. I don't really see why we're so afraid of it. Granted the increase in horrendous weather seems to portend a dark future filled with wrath-like natural disasters but this is how the world works; did we really believe the we'd never see such times again?

1) Global Warming I wrote a school report on this. I dunno how I feel about Global Warming. Both arguments sound like they could be plausible. Like the CO2 emissions and the destroying of the natural rain forests. Then the other argument being it is just nature being a butt. So I dunno. Maybe we could be gonners by global warming.2) Viral Outbreak (Bio-war) Hmmmmm....Just another way Nature says FU to us. If you put 500 cows on 10 acres then a lot of them would die because they would be trapped by their own "waste", not enough to eat, and not enough space to grow and move around. So that is when the cows on that piece of land reach carrying capacity. Nature just finds a way to kill off the cows by a disease. This is what is happening to humans. (Not the bio-war dunno what the crap that is) HIV/AIDS, STD's, Cancer they are all a sign of that Nature if getting sick of us (aka human beings have reached carrying capacity). I think we will all go this way, not at a fast rate but just slowly enough to were Nature can handle us all again. 3) Nuclear War *vomits* I don't like discussing this one because it was the world's WORST idea inventing these stupid things. <_< 4) Meteorite Crash Possible. I will just let NASA be my guard. ![]() 5) Super-volcano Eruption ??? What if your in a place where there are no volcanoes? |

Probably after Gods 1000 year reign. But i'm not really sure, it could be at the end of the tribulation. I haven't really put much thought into. I think the chances of the world ending by giant metorite it VERY slim. |
