There is a 12-year-old mother not far away from me, yep … it’s wrong.

It wasn't illegal, and he really can't be sued be cause she agreed to it, if he was 18 though then yes to both.

1.) So is it illegal if the boy is 17 and the girl is 15? No.

2.) Can the boy get sued? They could take him to court I guess, but I doubt they'd win.

Actually, it is a crime, as Ben stated.

It's a criminal offense punishable by law, Statutory Rape.

Therefore, it would not be a civil case but a criminal case so the parents wouldn't be the ones bringing the charge against him it would be the police (or in the case of court, The State of ____ vs. ____)

<- is going to college to major in criminal justice<3

Really, You can get pregant at 11, Anyways that was amazing, I don't know why people want to get pregant so soon. Some of them that get rape and sexually adbused, Well i feel sorry for those people who don't choose that path but get forced in it.

I'm finding it a little odd that you're all talking about how 'gross' it is for young girls to get pregnant. Most of the time they're raped. That is the gross thing.
Instead, try reading the first post and give some advice to Verastyle.

In the UK it's illegal for a male of any age to have sex with a girl under the age of 16, consented or not.

1.) So is it illegal if the boy is 17 and the girl is 15? Yes, as stated before.
2.) Can the boy get sued? Definetly
3.) How would she confront her parents/the boy? I can't really say how you would, the best way is to tell the truth, because the more you build up, the more stressed your friend will get.
4.) What should she do in this case if she were to have the baby? Well assuming the father is willing/court orders him, he'd have to pay for child care, plus she'd have to find a way to take care of the baby.

I honestly don't really have any sympathy towards my friend though, because lately she has gotten into a few bad crowds, and has been sleeping around. So it can't all be blamed for the guy. Why should he have to pay for the child?

Because In England, You Can't have sexual retaionships with a girl under the age of 16. Since the girl is 15 she can sue the guy even though he is still under 18. Anyways, I think its both of them fault, If they wanted to do that they should of worn Protection.

Yes, but why would they want to sue?

He's not in England.

Anyway, Versatyle, if the family of your friend decides to file a lawsuit in court then he will be forced to pay child care if the family wins. I personally wouldn't have much sympathy either if my friend has been sleeping around with people and having unprotected sex when she knows it could happen. Otherwise, I'd still have her tell the truth to the parents.
