If she's underneath the legal age, it counts as rape. Your friend's boyfriend will be forced to sign the sex offender's register and may face a prison sentence, unless the case is like in Astheria's post.
First I'd reccomend a pregnancy test to confirm if she is pregnant, and if she is, then an abortion is the only way. If she was such a "conservative christian" she wouldn't be having underage one-night-stands in the first place.

Even conservative Christians sin.
Honestly, take a test, if it's positive, tell the parents.

And so I must remind the know-it-alls once again on this topic, and do consider studying it, 'cause I'm sure your professor knows about this and will trip you up on it. - Quote:
-
Close in age exceptions
While some legislation dealing with age of consent sets a hard and fast age under which sexual relations are prohibited, some jurisdictions have included exceptions to this. The exception can take the form of a defence at trial on the grounds of the close age of the participants, or can be an actual close in age exemption in the law negating any charges. The latter details acceptable age ranges for consensual sex between peers that otherwise would not be legal because one or both of the participants would be below the age of consent. The age differences of these two types of legislation vary by jurisdiction, from as low as one year to as high as ten years .
Obviously I don't know what state this occurred in, but you can't make blanket statements. I know for Minnesota it's a 3 year age gap.
I am aware of "Close age" laws. I'm assuming that the person resides in Illinois(Location of poster's profile). In Illinois, it will be treated as a misdemeanor in this situation, as the close age law states that "If the victim is at least 13 years of age and the defendant is less than 5 years older than the victim, the sexual activity will be classified as a misdemeanor" He would be charged with "Criminal Sexual Abuse" which is a "Class A" misdemeanor according to 720 ILCS 5/11-7.
However, I believe it still lands you a spot on the sex offender registry, which owns you for life.
Best course of action is still a pregnancy test. As stated before, if she's pregnant, she's automatically emancipated. She can see a doctor, receive medical treatment without her parents knowing. Also, if she's pregnant, she should have a paternity test performed to determine the father of the child so she can receive adequate support if she chooses to keep it.

Wow a 15 year old prego, now I've seen everything.
In my school district, at the middle school there is a girl who is pregnant with her second child in 8th grade
:emm: Anyway, don't tell the parents. They will find out themselves eventually if she really ispregnant and you'll lose a friend if you tell the parents
The guy wasn't a friend, more like a one night stand, from what I read.
the girl is a friend

Well the first real this she has to do is take a test and actually see if she is pregnant or not, Ten possibly go and talk to her treating doctor like Nicola said, The other thing is you said she has been sleeping around so that would mean she would have to make sure who the father is with dates etc, The second main part is to tell her parents so they can support her, Or maybe if she has a brother or a sister she could probally tell one of them and maybe they can carmally tell the parents what is happening.
My brother knows of a girl in his grade that is only 14 and is now pregnant after slutting around so to speak.

While some teenage girls don't 'show' when they're pregnant, it's likely she will, and her parents would appreciate her fessing up and asking for help rather than finding out the conventional way.
She *might* be pregnant? She needs to take a test. A reliable test, and then perhaps talk to her doctor or a family planning counsillor if she is still too scared to talk to her parents.
Of course, she might not be. Periods can be so precise and on time (i.e you know what day it is every time), but then it can also be completely out of whack because of hormones. People can go for months without a period. I know I have, and I've never had sex so I knew I wasn't pregnant. Stress can both bring periods on early and delay them, depending on the person. Therefore "omg I'm late" isn't as accurate as "It's blue/pink :|" on a reliable pregnancy test.
So... first she needs to find out whether she is or not, then she either needs to learn from this experience and do the mature thing and use protection, or she has a baby to start thinking about, and parents that need talking to.
It said in the first post that they used protection. Also, even using protection, you can still get pregnant,
Yeah, tell the parents thats the first thing to do.
"Also, even using protection, you can still get pregnant,"
Yeah, but if you used it properly what ever your using it is a small chance to get pregnant.

Your friends in lots of trouble. If she does have pregnancy then shes dead because her baby will show up. So I recommend going to the doctor and figuring like what other people say.

A small chance, but a chance nonetheless. I think a condom works like, 99% of the time, well, here's the way one of my teachers put it once. "So I can go have sex 99 times before she gets pregnant!" - "No, because it works 99 times out of one hundred, the time it doesn't work isn't necessarily the one hundredth time, it could be the first."
And it's true, don't think just using protection makes you safe.

Correction, When used correctly a condom is 99% effective. Therefore, if he put it on wrong, or put a hole in with his nail, the whole purpose is defeated.

Well technically it's best right now not to tell the parents, as she doesn't know completely if she is pregnant or not.
Oh, its 97 percent of success whilst using condoms, it's not 99 percent. I think it's birth control that's 99 percent.

First post says she won't get an abortion, as it's against her religion.
