I heard there are now 11 dead :(
That really sucks.

We had wind speeds of over 85mph down by the coast today at my grandparents, it was damn windy. The car practically stopped at one point near my Grandparents road and the waves were very impressive! :o

Beaulieu river also burst it's banks and there was about half a foot of water to drive through towards the village, and Lymington wasn't that hot either.

I'm thankful we didn't get any damage done to our car or ourselves... or our house. There were a lot of branches scattered around the forest, though.

There's slates missing from my roof, and I've got a tree in my front garden that got blown down from next door but one. :|

It's awesome!

Destroyed my back garden, took a few pics too but I'm not sure if I can get 'em up... a geography classroom in my school caved in and part of the college my mom works in collapsed completely.

It was on the news just before. The reporter said that an elderly woman was walking back to her house with the groceries and a wall collapse on her. Very sad. :'(

I was stuck in a railway station (Utrecht Centraal) for over 12 hours yesterday, along with thousands of other travellers. The Red Cross relocated us and provided stretchers. It was quite an adventure, really. Going outside was like suicide.

I got back home 23 hours after leaving.

Well, the winds aren't that bad in Bristol, but they are still pretty bad, especially when a massive wind randomly starts in the middle of a game of football :@

Heh, at my place the public transportation (Rotterdam, Netherlands) was almost shut down.
Should have walked, but I would get blown away (poor people outside...).

Tree fell almost on my school  Sooooo close
