I've totally messed up my laptop, I was deleting programmes that I don't use or no longer want and I must have deleted something that controls the volume. I cannot see the volume symbol at the bottom of the screen. How can I fix the problem? :/

Start Menu > Control Panel > Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices > Sounds and Audio Devices > 'Place Volume Icon in Taskbar?' YES :clown:

Go to that same place, only go to the Audio tab. Do you have any devices listed there? Looks like this:
